The Virtual Bank Account Scam

There are companies which will also sell you a PRE-FABBED or already set up Bank Account. You need a CLEAN, NEVER BEFORE USED BANK ACCOUNT to get back on Paypal, get verified and create a new Selling Account.

These companies will RENT you this kind of Bank Account to use for this purpose. They give you the account numbers, you put them in Paypal – they get back to you in 3 days when the Paypal verification bank deposits go in and they email you the deposit amounts.

Or there are some from what I understand which will SELL you a Bank Account which you can actually USE, where you can actually withdraw your money from Paypal into, and use for your business.

You pay out the nose for these (199.99 and UP) and they are yet another complete total and utter scam.

Sounds like a real great shortcut doesn't it?

Well you have to ask yourself a few questions before RENTING or BUYING a bank account.

The first very important question is – Is this account one where you can actually deposit your earnings from Paypal into this Bank Account?

Well if it is, Then ask yourself this....Whose bank account is this? You know for a FACT it isn't yours, Right?

So are you going to trust someone on the INTERNET to open you a Bank Account you are going to use for your BUSINESS? To do all your financial dealings with Ebay and Paypal? Are you serious?

Do you have any real idea who these people are who opened this account? OR do you have any assurances that they are not just going to LEGALLY drain all of your money out of it whenever they feel like it?

Probably once it has enough money in it for their liking....Maybe they sell a lot of these, and then let them run for a year or a few months or a long enough period of time to accumulate enough money to their satisfaction?

Then they clean them ALL out at once, hit the bricks, and open up another Internet Shop and start all over again.....Sound good? I'm sure it does to them....Now you've actually PAID a criminal for an account they are going to rob in the near future...

Or is this account the more common kind? The one where they give you the account numbers, and then three days later they email you back the deposit amounts Paypal made to get your new Paypal Account Verified?

Well If that's the case, ask yourself this question – How do you plan to get your earnings out of Paypal once you make sales?

These are your options when it comes to withdrawing Money OUT of Paypal...

Well option number one is out obviously, you cant do that with this “Virtual Bank Account”. We'll Get right back to option 2 in a moment. Option 3? Sorry – you can't even apply for a Paypal debit card until you are a member for 60 days.

Then it takes an ADDITIONAL 2 MONTHS to get the card after you are approved (this is a FACT)...So using this option you'll have to leave your money in there for at least 4 months without touching it....Great..Not exactly an ideal situation if you're trying to run a business...

Option 4? Get cash out of an ATM? Well no, not without a Debit card which you can't get yet....

Option 5 and 6? Well sure you can shop at any website you'd like using your Ebay earnings...I guess then you can take your items you buy online and bring them to a local pawnshop, or sell them on the street for cash....Again not exactly an ideal situation...

As far as having Paypal issue you a CHECK?? Well let's think about this for a moment. Who is this “Check” being made out to? Your fake alias name you give them to start your new account, that's who. Okay, well what do you do with it when you get it issued in this name?

You can't very well deposit it in your own bank account, that's actually what's called FRAUD. You also can't bring it to Paypal's issuing bank to “cash” it – unless you have valid ID in the Alias name you are using for Ebay and Paypal....Which I doubt you do, and if you do that's also a Felony......So what do you do with this check? Bit of a brick wall huh? That's because there IS NO ANSWER...It wont work...

Beyond that even if you are absolutely BRILLIANT, and manage to create some kind of extraordinary method for cashing these “checks” (which also would have to be a CRIMINAL method by the way) ? Well let's think about what Paypal sees for a moment in regards to your account....

Yours is a brand new account, which immediately puts it under close scrutiny and HIGH suspicion – right off the bat. So now you go ahead and VERIFY your identity and self using a legitimate Bank Account.....Shortly after this, you get payments that come in.....

Now, instead of INSTANTLY transferring your hard earned money you made from Ebay sales into your BANK ACCOUNT for FREE – (which would be there for you to use within 2-3 days at most).....

You instead elect to have Paypal SNAIL MAIL YOU A CHECK, which will take at MINIMUM 5-10 days to process, PLUS the time it will take to get mailed....And once this check comes, well you will only be depositing it MANUALLY into your bank account anyway....

Hmmmm, Why would someone do something like this.....Guess what? IT SCREAMS FRAUD!! It's exactly what they are looking for people to be doing who are trying to do what you are doing which is getting back on Ebay, OR what SCAM and rip off artists do!!

What other possible explanation could there be for this discrepancy? Think about it for a moment, really think – What other explanation can you come up with?

Paypal is NOT stupid, on the contrary they are VERY diligent and they are ALL OVER NEW ACCOUNT ACTIVITY like WHITE ON RICE!! Paypal Accounts get suspended just for ASKING for checks....Getting Checks issued INSTEAD of using a bank account is what people who are looking to hide SOMETHING do...
